My little girl is a really good kid. She doesn’t get in trouble at school, she does what she is told, but man does she have an attitude. I don’t where it came from, but she has one.
If she asks for something and we say maybe or no or anything but yes, she starts with her attitude. She will pout and say “UHHH” and act like we NEVER let her do anything. She is good at crossing her arms and her new thing is arguing with us. She tries to think of any reason for us to change our mind.
Another aspect of her attitude is if we are going somewhere she doesn’t want to go, she starts her attitude, “why do I have to go? I don’t want to go.”
So we made some rules when it she starts that behavior. First whatever she wanted gets an automatic no! If she continues, she loses her TV. That works great for about a week. Then I guess she forgets what happened and she tries her attitude again.
What I don’t understand is why does she already have an attitude problem? I thought I had at least until, I don’t know, she was 12. But apparently it starts sooner than that. If anyone has any attitude adjustment advise, that would be nice I would really appreciate it.
I know I am dreaming but I would like to get rid control of the attitude before she hits puberty.

Destiny knocked on Amy Thompson’s door in 2002 when little Mallory was placed in her arms. In 2003, Mallory’s adoption was finalized, thus allowing Amy and her husband to embark on a blessed journey into parenthood.
When I was a kid a good spanking always worked on me!
